First Way of Dealing With Anxiety

Working Out and Exercise

So, my first tactic that I have developed after finishing my first ever wrestling season a few years ago, is working out. When you work out it helps relieve built up stress and anxiety. The biggest thing I found with working out is to not push it too hard when you first start. A lot of people, when they first start working out, they decide to try and workout 5-7 days a week. I also made the same mistake at first, if you try and workout that much as a beginner, you will end up burning out and not being able to sustain that workout schedule that you are on. So, I recommend starting off at about 3-4 days a week, working out that much is beneficial for the mind and soul. Even working out 2-3 days a week will relieve insane amounts of anxiety and stress.

I found that when I started really working out that my anxiety levels were drastically lower. The feeling you get after working out, is euphoric. You feel extremely proud of yourself and you also feel accomplished. Let me know if you guys would like me to tell you my workout schedule to minimize my anxiety, also be ready for tomorrows blog, where I will be talking about dieting and eating right!!

  1. Great advice, Cullen. What are some of your favorite exercises? What are your least favorite? I love planks, diamond pushups, step-ups, and russian twists. I loathe burpees and pull-ups. I also hate split squats. Lol.

    1. I hate split squats too haha, I would say my favorite is clap push ups, bench press, deadlift(if you have a gym) for at home workouts, my favorite is 25 yard sprints, runs, burpees, push-ups, planks, weighted sit ups and weighted dips!
